The Rifles (Acoustic)
XFM (DJ set)
Friday 24th February
The Bowery

London’s scenesters, The Rifles have been skirting round the indie mainstream for a while but now appear to have dived right in with the release of their third album Freedom Run. The album is receiving critical acclaim from across the national music press and has even been voted album of the year in some polls.

Tonight, at The Bowery, Absent Kelly Presents brings The Rifles very own Dean Mumford to play some of the catalogue that has kept fans of The Rifles loyal, devoted and growing over the last few years, as well as a cover or two from Weller, who Dean previously toured with.

In addition to this, London’s biggest indie/alternative radio station, XFM joins us, fronted by queen of the air waves, Sunta Templeton behind the decks supported by up and coming live acts.
